Nepalese New Year was celebrated on Sunday 14th of April (Baisakh 1, 2070) at Western Spring Community Hall, Great North Road, Western Spring. The program that included group fun quiz, Nepalese dinner and Bingo was started with the speech of NZNS President Mr. Uddhav Prasad Adhikary. Mr. Adhikary welcomed the participant and wished that New Year 2070 would bring peace and happiness for all Nepalese. The fun quiz which was conducted by Mr. Laxman Paudel aimed to entertain the participants along with communicating some interesting aspects of Nepalese society and culture.
